Work Begins

Your Home Is Energy Efficient

You can enjoy a warm in winter, cool in summer energy efficient home.

But what is a deep retrofit?

A deep retrofit involves carrying out a number of energy upgrade measures in one installation to achieve a warmer, more comfortable, energy efficient home with a BER rating of between B2 and A1.

As a registered One Stop Shop with SEAI, Leetherm will provide you with all the services you require for your deep retrofit upgrade from initial assessment, installation of measures, grant application right through to project completion, final BER and handover. Leetherm project manage the entire process for you from start to finish.

Our team will meet with you at your home to do a full assessment and site survey. A proposal is put in place and a quotation is raised based on the necessary requirements.

Insulation

We measure the u-Value of every element of your building fabric – walls, floor, attic, windows and doors – to ensure that the overall thermal performance meets our minimum standard.

Heat Pumps

An air source heat pump is a tried and trusted renewable technology that extracts energy from the air outside, even in temperatures of -20 degrees, which is converted to heat and distributed throughout your home and fills your hot water cylinder.

Windows and Doors

We assess the current effectiveness of the windows and doors in your home. Draught insulation is a very effective way to save you energy and money by stopping heat escaping from your home.

Airtightness

An independent airtightness test is carried out when the project is finished to confirm that the insulation target has been reached.

Ventilation

The purpose of sealing a draughty house is not to stop the exchange of fresh air but rather to control it. At Leetherm, we use an advanced ventilation system to achieve this through demand controlled ventilation and mechanical heat recovery.

Solar PV

Solar power relies on specialised panels, which absorb energy from the sun to convert into electricity. Solar panels are typically mounted on your roof, but you can also install external panels placed around your home.
